No, the GEZ was not forgotten. It was a controversial topic that sparked debates and discussions among the German public. The GEZ fee, which funds public broadcasting in Germany, has been a source of contention due to its mandatory nature and perceived lack of transparency in how the funds are used. The issue continues to be relevant and is periodically revisited in political and public discourse. **

GEZ fees are a broadcasting contribution fee in Germany that is used to fund public broadcasting services. Every household in Germany is required to pay this fee, regardless of whether they own a television or radio. The funds collected from GEZ fees are used to support public broadcasting services such as television and radio programs, as well as online content. The amount of the fee is determined by the number of adults living in a household and is collected by the Gebühreneinzugszentrale (GEZ), which is the organization responsible for collecting the fees. **

The justification of the GEZ, or the public broadcasting fee in Germany, is a matter of debate. Proponents argue that it is necessary to fund public broadcasting, which provides diverse and high-quality programming for the public good. They also argue that it ensures the independence of public broadcasters from commercial interests. However, critics argue that the fee is unfair and burdensome, especially for low-income individuals, and that public broadcasters should find alternative funding sources. Ultimately, the justification of the GEZ depends on one's perspective on the value of public broadcasting and the most equitable way to fund it. **

No, the GEZ (Gebühreneinzugszentrale) is not allowed to access data from residents' registration offices. The GEZ is responsible for collecting broadcasting fees in Germany and does not have the authority to access personal data from registration offices. Data protection laws in Germany strictly regulate the access and use of personal information, and any unauthorized access to residents' data would be a violation of these laws. **

It is possible that gez is not being debited due to various reasons such as insufficient funds in the account, a change in payment method, or an issue with the billing system. It is recommended to check the account balance, payment settings, and contact the billing department to investigate the issue further. **

If the gez is not debited, it means that the payment for the public broadcasting contribution in Germany has not been deducted from the individual's bank account. This could be due to various reasons such as insufficient funds, an issue with the bank account information provided, or a mistake in the payment process. It is important to check with the bank and the public broadcasting service to determine the cause of the non-debit and to ensure that the gez payment is made promptly to avoid any penalties or consequences. **
